Pride, Sir Thomas
(¿Somerset?, Inglaterra–23 oct. 1658, Worcester House, Surrey).

Militar inglés. Se unió al ejército parlamentario en las guerras civiles inglesas, comandó un regimiento en la batalla de Naseby (1645), luego sirvió con Oliver Cromwell y ayudó a derrotar a los invasores escoceses en Preston (1648). Cuando el ejército, dominado por los independientes, ocupó Londres ese mismo año, Pride arrestó o expulsó a cerca de 140 presbiterianos que eran miembros de la Cámara de los Comunes ("purga de Pride). Fue miembro de la comisión que juzgó al rey Carlos I.
